The Beach (that not many come to)

Imagine a sea full of people swimming around. It’s chaotic. Their trajectories look complex and appear aimless. They are all looking for a warm, safe and cosy place to save themselves.

Yes, the beach.

The beach is just what they need. Although, they may not know that. But you and I, we know!

And btw, “The Beach” is you. You are their way out of hypothermia and certain death. Pretty awesome, I know! (Feeling special? Not the point here…Maintain your focus, please.)

I’ve built it but they haven’t come!

Now, as you may have noticed already, it’s not enough just to look attractive in order to lure people into your world. You and I both know that you are the go-to enterprise for these swimmers, but they do not. At least not yet!

You may be asking yourself “How is that possible!? We’re so good at what we do. Helping with this and that. Having this amazing track record...”

Well, people are way smarter now than they were half a century ago. Surprised? You should definitely respect (and use) that.

However, they are also wary. Many of them actually saw the movie “The Beach” (If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Stream it right after you read this!) and they know that hell usually comes disguised as paradise.

Both of these traits (intellect and fear) should play crucial roles in your plan on how to position yourself on the market and speak to your audience (the swimmers). If done correctly, your growth trajectory can become steeper than Mount Thor.

The key here is the dosage and timing. Both ingredients can make or break your dish.

What about the other beaches?

Yes, there are a few competitors out there. However, you know you can outperform them because you are an expert in your field. You understand your swimmer. Remember? You have an amazing track record.

These beaches may have cheaper sunbeds, but your umbrellas create a thicker and wider shade. Your drinks may be colder (not advisable when you’re trying to prevent hypothermia), and your burgers juicier. Whatever it is, you catch my drift.

The point is, whatever it is that makes your swimmer tick, that’s the focus of your conversation!

But, don’t be too obvious and parade around yelling “Come to our beach, we’ve got lobster rolls!” Remember, your swimmer is smart and wary!
